Chupacabra Found in Texas?

This thing was found in Texas. Maybe this mutated creature is a product of bush's environmental policies when he was Governor.

5. Mangey coyote.
Somewhere a roadrunner is smiling. Seriously, there is some bad environmental stuff going down. This is a pitiful example of nature suffering. This animal, and others reportedly in the area, are probably suffering because of something people have done. I hope they find the causes.

13. It is sarcoptic mange
that's killed either a coyote or a fox. I'm currently treating the local raccoon population for the same problem (I have three babies that come by the house every night-they look like hideous naked mole rats). I'm using Ivermectin paste mixed with jam on bread, one dose a week per coon. It's hard to remember which ones I've treated every week (they're wild, after all), but at least one pregnant female is improving, and that's a relief.

12. Mange
If it is mange the animal would have to be put down. I'm astonished that it lived long enough to end up looking like that. Dogs will die from mange long before they look that bad.

14. No. Once we had a puppy that was that bad.
Edited on Wed Oct-27-04 10:43 PM by Ladyhawk
It was a genetic defect (no immunity to mange) and we had to put him down.
