THIS is what a Red Sox win means to her. Her Dad took her to Fenway when she was a child.

She is 40 now.

She is crying.

3. I'm crying too. Can't believe my dad didn't live to see it
But, I know he was there in spirit and in Fenway this week in the bleachers where he took me to a game when I was 10.

He always believed it would happen.

20. My dad or brother
didn't live to see it either. I grew up in Pawtucket RI (home of the Sox triple A team) and can still remember my father trying to explain the complexities of the game, who the players were and why they were so great.
Once a year, the BoSox would come down and play their farm team. I do believe I actually saw Luis Tiant pitch at one of those games.
Anyway, I thought it was especially nice of the announcer who siad that there were many of us with loved ones who we wished could see this day...
I am so proud of this team right now.

13. Havocdad said he never has to see another baseball game in his life.
He never thought he would see this come about. (You can take the boy outta New England, but you can't take the Sox outta his heart)

15. Well, God bless her
I literally just cried because the Cards lost so bad. I don't know what to do. I am gutted even though I knew it was going to happen. Thought they were the best team but we know how That went.

You assholes can now talk about beating us but we WILL be back.

Congratulations to the Red Sox. We sucked, that is all there is to it.
Next year none of you will live! hee hee!

Have fun guys! You deserve it!
