Who enjoys South American football (soccer) on the Spanish channels? |
|
These guys are the greatest atheletes I've seen, and their play is like watching poetry in motion.

I cannot watch a complete game of soccer, live or televised. I'd rather grow moss on my head.

3. I wish I could understand what they're saying |

If I could, I would watch.
I do enjoy watching the UEFA Champions League when that comes on late in the European season, and the random EPL matches that come on Fox Sports Net now and then are sometimes quite entertaining.
It must be fun to watch the Brazilian leagues, though.

I want to learn Spanish. So I figure that listening to the commentary won't hurt.

5. I love it. And the fans are mucho loco... |

football is the greatest game on earth bar none.
Though I prefer the English Premiership or the Spanish Liga "A" to South American football. But South American fans are the best.

6. The Premiership tends to be boring unless it's the heavyweights playing |
|
Never watched La Liga, except for Real Madrid, Barça, and Deportivo, who always seem to go pretty far in the CL.

9. i respectfully disagree...:) |

The premiership is full of players who might not be the most skilled on the ball but they give their all every game. It's more physical and full of action.
The funny thing about the premiership is that until recently is was probably the most balanced out of all the top leagues. You never knew who was gonna pull through. In the last decade of course that has changed with the super teams spending tons of cash. But still even teams like Middlesborough and Newcastle or even tiny Crystal Palace can surprise.
If you can watch more of La Liga "A" then you definitely shold. Even the lesser known teams are really quality and worth watching.

I honestly prefer it over American sports, and I am an American. Sorry.
