Congrats Red Sox fans, you beat the Cubs in 1918 for your last world championship prior to this year. Do you have any idea who won in 1917?

My beloved White Sox, that's who. We are the new kids in town, the reigning champs seeing as how the Cubs last won in 1908.

So again, I congratulate you all, but don't come crying to me about how long it has been. We have two franchises in town and in the last 86 years you have two more pennants than both of ours combined!

Went to so many games as a kid growing up in Chicago. One of these days it will be our turn. But, I'm happy for the Red Sox fans this year because I understand...I was even happy for the Cubs fans last year during the post season, and I'm not exactly a fan of the Cubbies.

something. A Sox fan happy for Cubs fans. That don't happen in my neighborhood. I got nothing but poop last year from my friends and family. Yes I'm a born and raised South Sider and I'm a lifelong Cub fan.
