And will remain so. I am disappointed, but I will say this: If the sox winning the series means Kerry will win the election, I will have no complaints.
Congrats to all Red Sox fans. The fact that they swept the series shows beyond a doubt that they are the better team (right now at least ;))

And am extremely disappointed.
Not so much disappointed that they lost, but how they lost.
After rallying to win the NLCS, I was amazed at the total lack of heart they showed in the WS.

2. Thanks. Thanks for not being a sore loser. |

I'm not a baseball fan at all, but I was really rooting for the SOX to win this time. I hope it's an omen that we'll have another MASS winner within a week!

7. I am too and have been for many years. |
|
I was born near Boston and lived there 'til I was 12. Later in life I lived in MO for 22 years and became a very strong Cards fan. I bleed for all my friends in Jasper county and Jeff City. BUT.......Red Sox are in my blood. I was very conflicted throughout the playoffs, but ultimately had to root for the Sox. Hang in there Cards. I will always love you too and there is always next year. We just proved that.

Good thing it was a sweep.... Because rumor has it the Russians had carted off games 5 through 7.

Your team kicked my team's ass.
The Cardinals were great this year, and though disappointed to see them lose (especially in four) It says A LOT about the Bosox.
Congratulations.
ATTN: JOHN KERRY -- I'll buy you Ted Drewes next time you are in St. Louis.
