How weird is that?? Must be another sign. coming from a non supersticious person, I wonder about myself...

6. There were no player numbers in 1918.
The 1927 Yankees were the 1st team to adorn numbers. Ruth did wear #3 for the Yanks as to his place in the batting order. Lou Gehrig who hit cleanup wore #4.
