I'm very happy for the Red Sox, but there's still that sad sick feeling at the pit of my stomach looking back on this season. We Cub fans are all alone now.

Congratulations to the Boston Red Sox. I was at games 1 & 2 and had tickets for games 6 and 7 at Fenway, and frankly, I have no problems with not needing to use them. It's nice to see the BOSTON Red Sox win the world series in Bus(c)h stadium. Hopefully this will be an omen for Kerry.

BTW has anyone heard about the Washington Redskins thing? My Freeper brother was telling me that every time the Redskins win the sunday before election day, the incumbent wins (when there is one), and every time they lose, the incumbent loses. I'm not sure if it is true or not, but GO PACKERS, just in case!!!
