Did David Letterman make fun of beheadings?
Someone told me that today.

1. Someone also told me...
That Free Republic is full of smart, good looking and patriotic people.

That, too, I found hard to believe. Very.

There is a lot of bullshit being slung by the right, by people who hate free speech and dissent. Letterman is not afraid to dissent.

2. Officially, WTF?
Anyone have the synopsis of this? I haven't heard anything about this.

3. I think there might have been a talk-radio smear job

against Letterman out there. They probably heard him use the term "beheading" facetiously, but are using it against him as if he was making fun of the beheading victims in Iraq.

I'm trying to find out the source. I looked on snopes, but couldn't find anyhting.

4. Meanwhile, freeperfriendly Leno's lead joke last night was
probably something topical and edgy about MC Hammer. Fuckin' twat.

7. GE's assboy can "support" Kerry but it still remains that he
was on his knees for Ahnuld during the recall.

Also, Leno is just a cheesedick compared to Dave. As edgy as the New Zoo Revue.

8. I haven't watched Leno in years.
His delivery is corny, the jokes are predictable, simplistic, and bad. No edge. Like they are designed for a children's magazine.

5. Surely not.
He has even gone easy on Martha Stewart, so I cannot imagine him going down to the level of making fun of people being beheaded. I say it is probably a right wing smear job.

(I never thought I would post the words "Martha Stewart" and "Beheaded" in the same post.

9. I will always respect Mr. Letterman for not making fun of his stalker
(the lady who broke into his house) - he said in an interview once, I wouldn't make fun of someone with cancer; whey would I make fun of someone suffering from a severe mental illness (eventually that lady kneeled in front of a train to commit suicide).
