Ramadan question
Edited on Thu Oct-28-04 11:26 AM by Onlooker
I'm friendly with the manager of my building and occasionally stop down and talk with him over a cup of coffee. Since it's Ramadan, I wonder if I should bring him or his wife anything, such as flowers. Is there an typical gift ones gives during Ramadan?

1. Give the gift at the end of Ramadan. Eid-el-Fitr. Right now Muslims are
fasting and doing without a lot of things.

3. I agree
Wait til the end of Ramadan to give a modest gift. There really is no typical Ramadan gift, so feel free to choose whatever you think your friends would like.

2. One of my college buddies liked to have large lunches during Ramadan
He said that breaking the rules made it taste even better

5. ummm...but then he got food poisoning from a fish sandwich and learned...
his lesson.

Actually not, just trying to make up something that makes it seem less appealing. Sorry to tempt you, pal.
