I've been to Beijing, Xian, Chongqing, Shanghai, Wenzhou, and rural areas surrounding these cities.

Loved the food, except for some swill they were dishing out on the coastal ferry to Wenzhou and the deep-friend whole sparrows they served in Shanghai. But I was surprised to find that I actually liked shark fin soup.

Actually, people are seem to be free to speak their minds there. I can tell you that Bush is nowhere near as popular as Kerry. :-)
