Magic: the Gathering fans.. question |
|
I am trying to remember which cards does the following:
Enchantment to allow unlimited number of lands from hands to play
Enchantment to hit for cards exceeding more than 4 (the rack?)
Enchantment allowing you and opponent bypass the 7 card limit.
Also, I could use some great quick damage card deck ideas that would get you down quicker than you can say "moo". It can be any color.

1. fastbond (though there were others that could something similar) 2. black vise. not an enchantment, though, an artifact. 3. library of leng. again, an artifact. other cards had this effect, but also had other effects (necropotence, etc.) not sure that the library affected your opponent though. been too long to remember that well.
i remember way, way early on in magic (shortly before i started, then stopped playing) there were lots of decks based on howling mines, black vises, wraths of god, swords to plowshares, and lots of counterspell. another variation had howling mines and millstones with counterspells and control cards (wraths, swords, island sanctuary, moat, etc) to run 'em out of cards. all of 'em full of moxes and dual lands and other things i could never begin to afford as a silly young college student. then they remade the tournament rules to encourage (and require) constant new purchases of each new set, and all those expensive cards became illegal for tournament play anyway.

2. Political_Junkie's son says: |

"My black deck does quick damage by making my opponent discard cards. It's actually very simple. I have two copies of Megrim in my deck, that deals your opponent 2 damage for each card discarded. Put both of them into play (it's an enchantment), then hit your opponent with several discard spells, like Wrench Mind. Fugue works best though, that's three cards instead of two. That's four damage for each card they discard. With several discard spells at a time, it can dish out mass damage really fast."
