18. I traditionally drink on election day |
|
I got pretty fucked up in '88 (truth be told, I wept, home alone, bottle in hand), but in '92 I was feeling great, with a roomful of friends. That was one of the greatest times of my life.

20. ok i need a reminder. is it the darker the liquor the worse the hangover? |
|
give or take...
i was planning on splurging for good organic red wine. i havent had a drink in some time so i better take it slow no matter what but i need to know my liquor rules first.
i dont drink hard liquor (not since high school, im sure you understand) so its wine or beer for me, preferably organic unless im good and wasted in which case it doesnt matter too much, but im going to try to avoid that
heres to president kerry!

25. wine is great with food and to relax by,... |
|
but gives the nastiest hangovers if you actually get drunk off it, especially red wine; I can't remember the scientific explanation for it though.
Probably best to stick with good beer (no dark kinds as they tend to cause heartburn if consumed in excess).
And take it easy of course.
cheers...

Stop consuming alcohol an hour before you go to bed. Drink lots of water in that last hour. As I understand the process, alcohol dehydrates you and the hangover is your brain suffering from water loss.
To avoid hangovers don't drink so much, or drink lots of water before bed and immediately upon waking. Aspirin is your friend.
If anybody else can explain it better, please chime in.
