5. Can't really vote as I haven't heard the McCoury cover
but Thompson's live performance in Brooklyn, on a record with David Byrne (An Acoustic Evening With David Byrne & Richard Thompson) is absolutely unreal.

....nobody doe's RT like RT.

Have you heard Greg Brown's version of Vincent Black Lightning? ...on one of his live albums. I love Greg Brown, but I don't care for his version of Vincent Black Lightning.

I'll have to check out Del McCoury's version....which album is it on?
