"A Ghost is Born" (Wilco), "Absolution" (Muse), or "Oh, Inverted World" ..
(The Shins)?

Quick, I need to make a quick run out to buy one of these albums for myself. I don't have any other Wilco or Muse albums, but I do have "Chutes too Narrow" by The Shins. While I really enjoyed it, I'm looking for a little more mellow sound this time around, but at least with Oh, Inverted World I'm almost guaranteed to like it a lot.

Wilco's sound is pretty cool from the little clips I've heard of AGiB, but I've also heard Muse is awesome (especially for a little Radiohead fanboy such as myself).

I need answers... and fast! :o

If you like "Chutes..." and want something mellower... you're on the right track with Oh, Inverted World.

I like Wilco too, but I've only heard the "YHF" album. My friend said the newer one is good, but not great like "YHF."

I think you should get "Rejoicing In the Hands of the Golden Empress" (Devendra Banhart)

But, eh...why listen to me? what do I know

Edit: If you must, go with "Oh, Inverted World"

7. If you like Wilco
and want something a little mellow I would check out 'Virginia Creeper' from Grant Lee Phillips.
