"Become a Soldier...An Army of One"..Army commercial
Edited on Thu Oct-28-04 11:34 PM by chiffon
Excuse me, but I just saw this goddamn commercial and I since I know its a recruitment video it pisses me to the nth degree.

The graphics were state-of-the-art digital animation with illustrious smears of pastel and earth tones that evoked a sense of aesthestic calm mixed with intrigue and excitement. It was so alluring!

I was curious to see what they were 'advertising' and realized (after I said to myself, "Now, whatever they're selling, at least the marketing deserves a listen,") it was an army recruitment commercial.

Muthaf*ckers:

(My niece is stationed in f*cking Iraq and she joined 6/2001 after her highschool graduation) and I don't wonder why. She wanted funding for her future education, an opportunity to travel, and the desire to garner an national/international experience.

OK...yes, joining the army means serving in the army. But godamnit, my distrust for the Department of Defense and the current adminstration just flat-out makes me want to scream!

November 3...for my niece, for my brother, for my mother, for my father, for my country, for me... please...please.
