Ya beat me.
Honestly, I think he's just a dirty, foul little man who doesn't play by the rules. No genius necessary.
Also overrated: John McCain. If he were a real maverick, he wouldn't stump for the man who assassinated his character, and he wouldn't stab his friend John Kerry in the back.

I love Frank Zappa. He was brilliant at utilizing all kinds of incredibly difficult time signatures and used to poke fun at the 4/4 mentality of most rock and pop music; the nice thing is that when you hear some of his music it sounds so effortless and natural. Miles Davis was really good that way too.

Citizen Kane is a bone-fide masterpiece, just like people say. If there were artists like Welles working in America now then your film industry wouldn't be a laughing stock. On the other hand, here in the UK we can't really afford a film industry, so...

oh you're right, most movies are just not worth watching these days. i'm sorry, i didn't see citizen cane until i was maybe 24 or 25 and i had already seen probably every movie that ripped off stuff from wells, and lot of scorcese iamong others that i liked better and so i guess it just didn't enthrall me. i kept thinking about the saturday night live skit because chevy chase really did a good job as that old guy, and i don't know it just didn't grab me. i don't want to start a fight but, it's no goodfellas.

Turns you into a belligerent moron or a weeping basket case; causes brain damage; in sufficient quantities causes blackouts and loss of bowel and bladder control. Yet is's not only socially acceptable but quite often celebrated. Personally, if I must alter my consciousness, I'd rather do so with cannabis, which has almost none of the nasty side effects of alcohol, and is, in general, a pretty benign substance, yet inexplicably remains illegal and demonised.

In my business I work with actors and they're about the last people whose opinions I want to hear about.
Yet they're all over the fucking place, being put in the spotlight and being asked their opinions on things.
Some of them are fine people, but they're just ACTORS for cryin' out loud.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy sex. It just doesn't seem as big of a deal when you can do it almost anytime you want as opposed to when you are anticipating it when you haven't done it in a long time.
