I was thinking of having quotes and a picture too but I didn't think to use DU quotes. That's a good idea, I'll have to start trolling for some.

that little character annoys me for some reason and I immediately have to rush to the stop button to make it quit...

but then animated pics on message boards tend to annoy me anyway, even when I like them, e.g. that penguin knocking over another penguin .gif.

I dunno I guess I'm just looking for a change, getting kind of bored with the one I have now. I tend to have ADD when it comes to this stuff. Heck I even change my desktop pic at least once a week.

I tend to change it more frequently on the PC 'cause of that save as wallpaper thingie. My iMac usually gets a new one once a week.

Right now I'm on a kick for astronomy pics...been browsing the Astronomy Picture of the Day archives so I'm averaging a new one every hour, hehe.

but I do sometimes use this image that displays the location of all of my fellow Source Mage GNU/Linux developers. It's big, so I'll link to an html page so the forum doesn't automatically display it.

Speaking of sigs I love yours. Reminds me of a really goofy home movie my friends and I made when one of us got a camcorder. I built a Lego city and we filmed my friend's kittens stomping all over it, to music from '50s sci-fi monster movies. Then there was our version of Jurassic Park with the Lego treasure island set and my friend's iguana...
