My husband and I are off to Akron early tomorrow morning to help Sen. Kerry kick that miserable piece of sh*t out of our White House.
We're looking forward to working with the local Kerry campaign on GOTV efforts - and to getting into the thick of it! :thumbsup:

Canton-Stark County is just to the south of Akron-Summit County. But it often gets lumped together with us as a twin city of sorts. Akron and Canton are still very different areas, IMHO. The Canton area is generally more conservative than Akron, but there are still plenty of Dems there. And there are many who are still sitting on the fence. We can always use more support and motivation here to get these people out to vote on Tuesday!

I've got a date with my 87 year old step mom....
The last pres she saw was FDR in Marietta.

As an aside, Buxh came to town Wednesday.... showed up at the local airbase.
10,000 Bushbots showed up there on a beautiful fall day (with Zell from Hell and evil twin Mayor McKelvey)...he spoke inside a hanger to an INVITED crowd of about 1,000.

...one of my Pachababies! In fact, my friend is from Akron and we are staying at her Brother's house....I think a lot of us Bay Area folks (I'm in Marin) are going to save our country! Ohio is definitely in need of help and our work is done here (voted absentee)....

I just got back from a trip to Arizona...its been fantastic going on the road for democracy....if I stayed behind here on election day, I'd go crazy!
