I'm making beer-can chicken, and my home smells like Busch Gardens.
There's that brewery aroma wafting through the air, and traces of cigarette smoke. Plus the smell of sweaty kids, which could just be a flashback, and the smell of fat rednecks in wife beaters talking on cell phones about nascar. And when I open the door the nearby cow pastures give a hint at the Clydesdale smell around the stables. I sure wish I could trace the source of that vomit smell, though, like around the bathroom next to that Da Vinci's Cradle ride...

6. Oh, man...
Are you making your own marinade, or using off-the-shelf stuff? If you make your own, care to share?

9. It's my first time at injecting, and I'm thinking of making my own
something with
butter
mebbe olive oil too
cayenne pepper
garlic powder
onion powder'
tabasco (or prolly some scotch bonnet/habernero sauces I have instead)

I really don't know what to expect, except I love love LOVE my beer can chickens, so I'm hoping the turkey will be a winner, too. I guess I'd better rub it, too, prolly with my same chicken rub. Not sure which wood to go with. Apple maybe?

5. Yeah, sure, but it's been over a year
since Will Pitt and his vile cabbage-esque personal aroma drifted through these parts...

;-)
