computers weren't so good (1998). I needed a DOS one to run a certain program and another one for everything else.
Why don't you just use 2 browsers? Same thing...

Here I sit, slaving away over a hot microprocessor: A 400Mhz G4.
Arrrgggh!
I've got a PC and my Mac sitting side by side; the PC only comes on to run QuickBooks and to proof a web site when it's ready.
I've got a Cube sitting in the living room.
But I lust after the G5. I plan on upgrading to a dual 3Ghz model (G6?) in May of 2005.

12. Should I count the ones upstairs |
|
The old gateway, the old toshiba and the two no name brands? In that case we're looking at about 7. Oops, 8. My partner has his old laptop upstairs too.
Maybe my house should be considered some sort of hazard zone.

13. I got THREE on my desk at work |
|
My G4 iBook running Panther for new development, an old, old Powerbook G3 (wallstreet) running OSX Server 1.2 for maintaining old code, and a blue G3 tower I use for monitoring the network.
I got five at home, but only two on my desk there (one desktop, one is a webserver). All Macs, of course.

One XP, one Linux (the XP machine runs two screens, one of which it shares with the linux box). The laptop is now in the living room, so I can participate here, with the idiot box running in the background.

Work supplied a PC, which run Linux. I have a personal Ti book. Paradoxically, I mostly end up using the mac for work and tinkering with linux gpl stuff on the PC.
Lately there has been a proliferation of Macs at work, despite IT's preference for Windoze 2K.
IMHO, the best platform to run Powerpoint on is the Mac.
Their 23" LCD display is really nice too. One can never have too much screen real estate. Especially when one is DU'ing while waiting for a compile.\

I wore a suit and tie with my Bush mask and theatrical blood on my hands. It's really causing a stir- most people love it. It's just the men in charge (the very top) who don't. One even actively AVOIDED passing me! lol
