Why would one have a fully loaded anti-aircraft weapon
in one's home? Is he just a gun enthusiast? (Beaverton is a suburb of Portland, Or).

Beaverton, Ore. - A Beaverton man is under arrest after police seized a large cache of weapons from his home, including a fully loaded anti-aircraft weapon that was pointed out of a window at the street.

Twenty-nine-year-old Jason Laureno, whose home is located on Southwest 101st Avenue in Beaverton, is currently being held by federal marshals at the Justice Center in downtown Portland.

4. Do you think if his name were, oh, say, Ahmed Mohamed Al-Abaka
the article would have the same kind of curious hey-everybody-look-at-this-nut kind of slant?

7. Some people just collect them, but...
having it LOADED, is just plain nuts! I collect old (and some current) military-style firearms, but I keep them unloaded and locked up in a safe.
