Absolutely nothing of a sexual nature is permitted on the internet.

15. The Simpsons episode where Carl, Lenny, Homer, and
Moe go to the swimming hole when they were kids and find the body of Smither's father.

Carl asks everyone have they heard about the internet which is was what he called the inner liner of a bathing suit

-forgive my poor attempt at humor

17. No, forgive me.
I've seen that episode, I should have known.

(fuming) I hate being humbled in matters Simpsonian.

14. it's like a joke between me and a friend, only not funny
Edited on Fri Oct-29-04 02:04 PM by mahayasmellbad
friend ordained at a mahayanic monastery, I started addressing him as Monsignor Mahayasmellbad because we'd sort of had this contention about which buddhist school was better--mahayana or theravada. he prefers mahayana, I prefer theravada.

so there you have it. I'll probably change it if the Mods grant us an amnesty period next wednesday though.

edit: what part of Massachusetts are you from?

Mahayana buddhism is a pretty broad category, but it has more of a missionary zeal and places more emphasis on interconnectedness of creation. it is not that theravada doesn't do this, but people who subscribe to Mahayana school of thought ideally believe that they've an obligation to spread enlightenment and teachings of the Buddha unto others. meanwhile, Theravada buddhism (the older school) is more self-oriented
