The Lounge probably contributes a lot to the sense of community on this board. I for one am delighted to find so many in the community love cats. I love the pics and check for them every day!

15. Not all pix are located on the DU server...

and thus do not contribute to cost of downloaded basndwidth. I think many of the pix are located somewhere else and wherever they are downloaded from and whomever owns the site are the ones paying for the download.
