6. I just cleaned mine last weekend. |

Second story was a bitch. Tile roof so I can't walk on it. Had to lean the ladder against them w/o crushing them but pulled if off w/o killing myself.

but that would depend on getting the porch built first. Since it was determined today that the contractor cut the posts about a foot too short, it looks like the whole structure is coming down and being rebuilt.

8. So, what does everyone think of that new design with leaf guards? |

That's what I think.
The former owner of this house created his own gutter guards. They seem to work fairly well - it's just some sort of screen.
I would put them on higher-up parts of the roof, but on the lower sections it is pretty easy to get up on a ladder and clean them. We've used a modified gallon milk carton to scoop the stuff out.

had to take them down because they needed to down-cline at a 5 degree angle. So Those are all right now. But 5 or more years ago, another stretch in the backyard garage--------I put them in LEVEL, and I haven't gotten around to doing the INCLINE thing--------SO, when it rains, that stretch of gutter STANKS up, possibly breeding mosquitos. Gotta take it down and re-install. What was the question?
