3. I saw it in an uncut version - it was a five star

performance by Jamie Fox.

I still live around the corner from his house in the Hills of Los Angeles. His house was so cool! Tennis court and huge swimming pool.

Last year we watched them filming in our neighborhood. It was really exciting to see the old fancy cars parked in drive ways on that street. We saw Jamie Foxx and the crew too.

As a teenager we would see Ray Charles "driving" you heard me,"driving" about a block from his house! He would be behind the wheel and someone was telling him how to steer! I kid you not!

As silly teenagers we didn't realize the danger. We just thought it was so amazing that he could actually drive without vision.

They said he was a spectacular chess player, could beat anybody!

Back to the film...
The uncut version was almost three hours.
I heard that it is still long.
That is fine with me. When we left the preview we couldn't image what they could have cut out. It was all so good.
Can't wait to see it again!

4. I'm looking forward to seeing this one, although NightTrain had some
negatives about it the other day on this board. He was critiquing from the viewpoint of an R&B DJ who wanted to see more detail and authenticity, I believe. However, it sounds as if Jamie Foxx's performance is something else. I caught Ray on New Year's Eve a couple of years ago with his big band, and it was mighty good.
