1. I'm kind of a Grace/Karen hybrid
I have long curly red hair and I'm goofy but I'm also voluptuous and sarcastic. So now I'm confused. But I'm also an underachiever who likes to sing and dance so maybe I'm Jack.....

you're Karen. And who wouldn't want to be? She doesn't let anything get in the way of a good time.

I put Karen, even though I'm a straight guy.

It's more that I want to BE like her. Unrestrained, self-centered, spontaneous and fun.

In real life, I'm constantly working and sacrificing for the wife and kids...

I guess in real life, I'm more like Grace - a day late and a dollar short. Well-meaning but often in a jam...

7. It's a silly sitcom.
If it sucks so much, why not regale us with your favorite silly sitcom?

11. Then it's a matter of taste.
Andy Griffith was a fine show in its time but it is pretty dated.

M&G is a very gay, very contemporary, very UNREALISTIC show about New Yorkers, just as Griffith was a very UNREALISTIC picture of a rural community.

Golden Girls, Kate & Allie, Designing Women, Full House, Growing Pains, Cosby - why were these BORING-ASS shows ever popular? What were people ON in the 80s?

5. hmmm
Well, I have shoulder length dark hair and I'm "well endowed" and from Oklahoma (The actress who plays her is, so I could say Karen.

I've HAD red hair and I've been called a "fag hag", so I could say Grace.

But I'm responsible and level headed most of the time, and my general personality seems most like Will's. So I picked Will, even though I'm a girl.

14. I'd forgotten he was on there.
Was he a regular or just a once in a while guest star?

I really hate that show, regardless. Sometimes I catch reruns flipping channels late at night and I can't take more than five minutes of it. I don't understand these sitcoms that supposedly take place in NY and you don't even see black folks in the background. I can buy that people self-segregate to some degree, even though my circle of friends is extremely multicultural quite by accident, but it just bugs that this NY I see on tv bears no resemblance whatsoever to the place I live in.

Of course I'd probably feel even worse if I was from Wisconsin or something. They get even worse representation on shitcoms.

15. I'm not a huge fan of the show either
But he was a cast member and the love interest for a major character. I think he left when he got sick.

16. You mean that show "Jack & Karen"?
That's what we call it in our little gay household; we tolerate Grace somewhat, but can't stand the preening screeching Will. Jack and Karen are a hoot though. Rosario stole my mauve Members Only jacket that I'd had since the 80s and some day she's going to pay, dammit, because I loved that jacket.

It still blows my mind that its reruns are played every late afternoon/early evening three times on different channels on our cable; I can remember when the country was going to just freaking collapse over the scandal of Ellen coming out.
