I had a nightmare... I accidentally voted for Bush

So I was dreaming I walked into the voting booth on Tuesday, moved the levers the way I wanted (straight Dem for national offices and straight Green for local) and pulled the big lever. And then I realized that because of the paralax -- I'm a tall dude -- I had actually voted straight Republican for national offices and straight Libertarian for the local ones. Since I wasn't looking at the levers and the sheet from the right angle, but from above, they didn't line up correctly.

I live in New York. So then I was walking home and trying to console myself... "Well, Kerry will win NY anyway...", but there was a really, really bad taste in my mouth. I felt like the biggest idiot on the planet.

Luckily, that's when the alarm clock went off and saved me. I'm sure that had the dream continued, election returns would have shown NY going to Bush by 1 vote.
