Philo's Quail Eggs to be precise. Out of Basile, LA. (337/584-5128)
Ingredients: Quail Eggs, Vinegar, Water, Hot Peppers, Salt, Red Pepper, Garlic, and Spices.
$5.99 the 16 oz (454 grams) jar.
Delightfully spicey little ovoid hardboiled morsels. Goes great with a Scotch & soda, or the beverage of your choice. mm-mmm

Hahaha -- no, no no --- lousy joke. I like to keep a can or two of the little buggers around for a quick snack. I get them here locally (L.A. area) in the Asian markets for about $1.25 a 16 oz. can - not your brand, though. A little Tabasco, a smidge of garlic - a 6 pack of ice cold Rolling Rock --- Ooh, baby! Try and get some work done.
