Also a bit of trivia for those of us who weren't around for the original release: The reason this movie was such a bugout was that Janet Leigh was a star and Anthony Perkins was a nobody; so when she, the main character, enters that hotel, you think you're watching one film. And when she takes that shower, it becomes a completely different one.

Imagine what a mindf*** that was!

2. One of the very best flicks

I still lock the door when I shower. :) I saw it for the first time when I was a kid, babysitting. I was scared out of my wits.
