Halloween candy..... ugh.

Last year, my girl and I got all this bad ass candy for the little snotnosed little bastards (God bless them ;-)) for Halloween. We thought, "man, they're gonna love this"... mini Mr. Goodbars, etc Gummi Bears (the soft kind), peanut butter cups..

And NOBODY came. :( We got like one little pirate or some shit like right about 8:15 and that's it.

(We sure had plenty of candy, so we did the kid righteous to say the least. I was expecting the kid's mom and/or his dentist to show up at my house one night with a bat)

We were stuck with all this sugary sweetness which we just ended up eating and taking heaps of to work, as if there was a shortage.. :eyes:

So this year, partly because we have family members moving and what not and we've been distraced, we don't have squat.

So I am predicting mobs of greedy little sugared up ghouls and goblins, Pokemons and Spongebob Squarepants, sticky fingers and all, hitting me up for a fix this year, since this year I don't have anything. (Irony seems to search me out wherever I may be.)

So I guess I will go out tommorow and get enough stuff to fill up a small bowl of some decent candy, but not the spread we had least year. Sorry little homies, you missed out. But at least then we can compliment their little costumes and what not and make the kids and the parents happy...

Oh well... I guess maybe in apartment complexes people dont trick-or-treat much.

...it's the mobs of early teens who stopped at the local Convenient for eggs and TP before going trick-or-treating.

I always have candy.
