Curt Schilling not liked by the players on the Red Sox
Curt Schilling, we have come to understand, is disliked by his teammates. Randy Johnson openly resents him. He’s not seen as a clubhouse leader, and he’s one of the most unpopular players on the Red Sox. Half of the team doesn’t even give him a high five when he comes off the mound. And this is a team where guys are hugging each other every time they score.

Curt Schilling forces himself on the American public at every opportunity. It’s true, he’s done it time and again. With his charitable causes, with his views on steroids, with his views on chewing tobacco, with his views on labor disputes, with his views on everything. I know more about what Curt Schilling believes than I know about most people whose viewpoints actually matter.

5. As an AZ Diamondbacks fan...
I always did like Randy Johnson better than "Crybaby Curt". Now I know why...I guess I just sensed those evil Repuke vibes!

3. Sour grapes from Chi-town.
Red Sox Nation doesn't care what either one of those two guys think.
How'd this get out of the Lounge, anyway?

4. He's not part of Red Sox team attitude
He's more ego'd out, opportunist, more of a,...republican?
It's well known that the owner and management of the Red Sox are Kerry supporters.

He better not be wearing any Red Sox clothing or mention the team of the world series or ANYTHING about the team when he's doing his f**d up thing for B*.

6. Honestly,
this quote, ".... forces himself on the American public at every opportunity. It’s true, he’s done it time and again. With his charitable causes, with his views on steroids, with his views on chewing tobacco, with his views on labor disputes, with his views on everything." sounds like most movie stars, musicians, etc.

Don't we know exactly how Susan Sarandon, Barbra Streisand, Tim Robbins, Charlton Heston and many others feel about anything from animal rights to gun control?

I view Schilling as I view all the rest: It doesn't give me a boost or send me into fits of joy to know some famous person is voting for Kerry, or I don't get pissed to learn they're voting for Shrub. I mean, I'm glad they're voting for Kerry, but mostly what I want from these people is entertainment. I don't boycott or necessarily support a writer, actor, etc based on their political affiliation.

I guess my whole point regarding Schilling is "big freakin' deal."

7. I heard Kevin Millar
on ESPN Radio say he couldn't believe he said vote for Bush especially in Kerry's home town.
