5. It is like this every year around here.... |
|
My neighborhood seems to be Chicago's trick or treating theme park. The kids love it....

7. I don't know how many I've had - probably about 50-60 |
|
It's been a lot of fun. I just had the cutest little boy dressed as Mr. Potato Head. He was probably about 2-1/2. :D

dressed as Tricky Dick and Dubya....
I screamed at them about how scary they were. They laughed.

My favorites among the older kids - three boys dressed as the Keystone Kops! They had great costumes! :D

You've done duty for at least Halloweens, if not more! :toast:

I was invited to the triplets' house for dinner tonight (they are only 4, their father was cooking). But had I left, my 92-year-old mother would have sat in the dark. This is not a night I cannot be home. The kids love it. And I like seeing them have such a good time.

I think there have been 6 in the last ten years total. I am at the bottom of a cul-de-sac that winds up a steep hill. There are houses only on one side of the street. Not worth the effort I guess.

14. What? I live about 6 blocks down from you, and I didn't see a single one! |
|
Nobody on my block even has a freakin' jack-o-lantern! Well, we're going to look for a house up past Devon, so maybe we'll have better luck next year.
Happy Halloween, GAofT!

17. A Sunday get-together? Maybe... |
|
But I am swamped. Remember that Moody's meetup in September? I said that the only thing that would keep me from going would be if I found a job? Well, I found one, and I've been working like a dog ever since. I'll see if I can get it together for the 7th.

None last year. Not a lot of kids in my neighborhood. It's become mostly older people without little kids at home.

I live in the bad part of town. Even the kids who live right next door don't trick-or-treat in their own neighborhood here.
