Visibility for Kerry today......Wow those freepers are mean!
I was out for only 30-40 minutes with 4 other supporters and my daughter age 6. In that time 4 people flipped me off 2 were young white men and 2 who looked like Grandpas on their way home from church. One woman screamed,"Get a Life!" and various people shouted,"Kerry sucks!"
One thing I know for sure I won't be taking my daughter into a situation like that again. When we were leaving a boy about 10 and his Mother were leaving a restaurant and he chanted, "Kerry sucks!" over and over. I responded, "you are too young to even know a word like that!" In hindsight, I need to take the high road and keep my mouth shut as his mom could have started some kind of cat fight! I'm doing visibility tomorrow for several hours. I'm kind of scared one of these crazies might try to run me over! As for me I smile and wave at everyone even the ones who gave me the finger and just look as enthusiastic as I can!

3. Wow. I live in Mississippi--I go out all the time in my Kerry gear...
my car is festooned with four Kerry stickers and a window flag. No one has ever been ugly to me because of my Kerry stuff. I always get positive reactions from other Kerry supporters, but no negative ones.

And I am in Mississippi!

6. We were standing at a busy intersection with our big Kerry signs.
I wear 2 Kerry buttons all the time and haven't had any confrontations, also went door to door on a GOTV drive yesterday and approached several people that I think were not supporters but no one was rude or confrontational but they must feel more invincible when in their cars!

And replied with the line "See you in Iraq". That usually gives pause little shitty freeper kids/parents.

9. Here's how my friend handled it
She was doing a "Kerry wave" -- a group of people waving Kerry signs from the sidewalk during the morning rush hour. Only a few people were nasty to her group, and whenever they were, she jumped up and down and whooped as if they had shouted encouragements. That seemed to REALLY irritate them. :)

BTW, this was in Northern Virginia near George Mason university.

Well jatfla, those "intelligent" Kerry women have one more day to come to their senses. Oh wait! They have no common sense(s) - how 'bout we just hit 'em over the head and keep 'em out cold until Wednesday????? LOL

I'm just about "hysterical" myself. I live in Fla. and it's tight as a tick here. There's Kerry signs all over my neighborhood, only two for the President.

I drove by our Courthouse last week and it looked like party time as a mass of college kids had converged on it to vote early, I guess. They were dancing, laughing, running everywhere....Do these kids truly understand the impact of what voting (their votes particularly) will mean for us all? My husband hangs his head and says "See America's future?"

I'm not knockin' young people; just the failure of many to realize that we hold our future and the direction of the World at our fingertips when we push, punch, mark our ballots tomorrow. I'll be glad when it's over...for better or worse.

11. Yes jafla...they do understand the impact of their votes...and it's a very
good thing. They are saving untold amounts of lives, and having confidence in the future...and freepers just can't take that.

someone here. I have a habit of commenting on freeper comments here. :hi: :bounce: :hi:

12. The freaks are out in droves here in Charleston SC
Mostly supporting Jim Dement, R, the senate candidate who publicly states that gays and single moms didn't have the moral authority to teach our children in the public schools.

I just hold my nose and do a thumbs-down as I pass them, for which I was flipped off.

After work, if they're still there, I intend to stop and ask them why they hate gays.
