I don't have cable at home and the only place where I can watch and have control over a cable TV (at José's Mom's because she, being the Democratic Mayor of our city, will be at election HQ) has no computer.

Well its not that they have NO computer its just broken. Now if it turns out that the DSL there is still working I can bring my computer over, however, its looking grim.

I am horribly distraught by this as I've been awaiting my whole DU carrer for this day!

Or even a television? You can use news websites, and you can watch CNN and BBC World (2 major news networks I know of) through streaming video. And all of the regular TV networks are pre-empting everything from 7PM on to cover the election.

My provider, rhymes with Momcast, is completely unreliable. The three lights needed on the modem will fall out in the blink of an eye, and anytime the network is busy I can't get on. Sucks considering I was lured away from Dial-up to supposedly avoid just that.

Chavez, I will officially try to watch "Brazil" again if we can pull off this election. That's my personal sacrifice to you and to St. Jude. Just deliver the election first...

But if I can get on tomorrow, I will start a "What would ChavezSpeaksTheTruth say if he(?) was here?" thread.
