Ode to Richard Belzer! Who else saw this?
"She's a repugnant person, Bill!"

(Said about Man Colter after Bill Maher, usually much smarter about these things, defended him/her, talking with his dick and saying
"(S)He's my friend.")

Belz also called her a fascist party doll. Ha!

Meanwhile, Kevin Costner is, apparently, a complete asshole.

1. Maher seems to melt before female Republicans, no matter
how repugnant they are. Did you see the way he sucked up to that racist-mongering Michelle Malkin last month (or so)? I really cheered whenever Belzer called Coulter what she really is--a liar!

I don't understand why Maher lets these people off easy, even coming to their defense, although I think you're right that he thinks with his dick, too.

2. He was going to walk off the set
Maher had to plead him to stay.

5. Who? Costner?
I'm sorry, but wtf? with that guy?

"Those words are too big for me...I'm essentially a conservative...what do you mean 'boo?'...they're not swingin' for the fences...blahblahblah...I'm the cock who made Waterworld and ruined Kevin Reynolds' career...you gotta wonder if I had any idea what I was re-enacting in 13 days..."

and then he ends it with a slam on the Dems for supposedly trying to block out Nader?!?

8. It's like the Curt Schilling argument
There are a bunch of people from AZ and MA that might like him (not me) for what he did but not who he is. Costner is clearly an idiot and a bad spokesman for any political party. However, he will always have a place in my heart for what he did in Bull Durham.

3. Bill Maher creeps me out
There's something not right about him. Politics aside, he has a spooky persona.

4. I agree -- he's always given me the creeps.
I want to like him. I've tried. I just can't. There's something .. off about him and off in some serious way. JMHO.

Anyway, good for The Belz for not letting him get away with defending that horrible woman.

6. He's big into the Playboy Mansion culture
which is creepy, I think, for a fifty-year-old man. BM definitely has some issues in that regard, with his utter comtempt for marriage, children, etc, but I'd rather have him on the left than the right.

Reportedly he's hung like a horse, btw.

I am in hysterics - I haven't seen the Ann Coulter book cover. I can laugh all the way to work.
