The Rat, yeah.
The ProCo Rat is the best way to get that Link Wray "I-just-stuck-an-icepick-through-my-speakers" sound, without actually having to stick an icepick through your speakers.
Come on, if I want tube overdrive, I'll turn up my amp. If I want that artificial SKRUNNNCH! I'll use a Rat. ;)
