My computer reset from daylight saving to standard. I've checked and I'm correctly set for my time zone (EST) All the posts I see on DU are time stamped one hour into the future. Am I in a time warp?
on edit: this post is time stamped 3:11 p.m. My watch, my phone, my computer, other timepieces on other people's wrists say 2:11. I went to Report Bugs as I thought it was NOT me.
They can't figger it out. WTF

1. no, the rest of the world is wrong. Don't worry. I know where |

you can buy a computer that loses 30 minutes a day. And pretty soon, you will be on time.

2. It might be your 'preferences' at DU aren't set right. |

when I went to do that I discover that US EST is calculated as GMT -5. I'm in Canada which in preferences is calculated as GMT -4. Atlantic Canada is also calculated as GMT -4 Central Canada is calculated as GMT -6.
It appears to be a currently unimportant snafu with DU. I'd reset at US EST but I don't want to move. I like it here.
