What will Bush do when the election is called for Kerry?
Bush will of course go on TV and try and appear gracious, congratulating Kerry. But what will he do behind closed doors? We'll never know for sure, but what do you think? I think he'll be hit with such a blow that he'll never fully recover from it. For the first time, it'll hit him that his presidency was a failure. He failed to stop 9-11. He never caught bin Laden. He never stabilized Iraq. He never created a successful economy. A failure.

I don't think Bush really likes being president. I think he does care a lot abut his image though. He wants to be seen as a tough guy. He wants to succeed where daddy failed. His chances to do those things will be gone forever. So what will he do?

I think he'll flip out. I really do. He'll drink heavily. He'll go into a fit of rage and depression. He may need to be medicated. Possibly even restrained. What do you think?

3. He'll do what he did last time. He got mad and spoke harshly to
Gore on the phone, when Gore told him he wasn't calling to cede, he was calling to personally tell him he's going to ask for a recount. Bush got red in the face and mad as hell!

Real quotes from election night 2000. Such a man. :eyes:

6. I actually question the gracious concession thing.
I could see this fucker giving the bitterest concession speech ever. Or I could see him revealing his absolute, heretofore silent relief that he won't have to do this job anymore.

25. Seriously, I'm a bit concerned that he might go on TV
after Kerry is declared the winner and announce to the American people that the election was fraudulent and that until that could be rectified he would have to continue to serve as President. (Not too likely)

11. How much damage can you do
between now and inauguration day? The preemptive pardons for all members of his cabinet and staff will of course be high on the list. Leaving Iraq in even worse condition than it currently is with what would amount to Bush throwing a tantrum and taking it out on the Iraqi citizens (scorched earth in Fallujah?). If it is a clear win for Kerry, I don't see any real challenges, but that doesn't mean they would go into spin overdrive, implicating 'voting irregularities" in order to keep the faithful foaming at the mouth.

If the senate doesn't swing back to the Democratic side, look for major efforts to be put in place to thwart any Kerry initiatives.

They may concede the election, but they don't plan on giving up an inch of what they have gained the last four years.

14. The very first thing he will do...
...is kick all the photographers out of the room. We all remember the nasty, petulant expressions on his face at the first debate. Imagine the expressions on his face after a Kerry win. He wouldn't want that preserved for posterity.

Last night I had a dream that Bush had achieved an OJ Simpson-like celebrity status after losing the election. That dream probably isn't too far off the mark.
