Everyone at College knows I am toothless and I went back

I go to a small private college (I will owe out my butt after getting out of there)in Chicago.

We have about 300 people in our College and everyone and I mean everyone knows about me loosing my teeth.

The b*tch that was homeless and came up to me for a place to stay for a few weeks let everyone know when I told her that I couldn't keep her anymore and I wasn't being a bitch. It's the rules of my building and I had to take my Dad in until I can find him senior housing. I have a studio and my Sister is staying with us right now. I had to tell this woman to go.

She went back to the College and went to all of my classes and told the instructors that I couldn't come back because all of my teeth were removed. She also passed it along to the students.

When I went back on Friday one of the guys that I started College with who's mother owners Maria's Restaurants in Chicago came up to me and told me that Naomi had spread the word that I was toothless and he said that is how she put it.
I am a volunteer teachers aid at the college because my grades are above average.

I keep going in for fittings on my teeth and I can't get them for another two weeks and I am going back tomorrow and I don't give two shits about them knowing now.

The instructors are my age or older and I don't care because they are behind me.

I will wear a baseball cap so that I won't be noticed but the college is so small I practically know everyone and people passed me on Friday when I went in to see the head Chef about coming back and they all kept looking at my face.

I don't give a damn I am going back in the morning.

3. The woman that spread the rumors is 40 & she can't cook

I am not joking either. I volunteered two days a week of my own time to help teach her how to bake and she passed the class with a D-. She glazed her Cinnamon rolls before putting them in the oven and she did it over and over again.
She has asked me If I am sleeping with one of the Chefs because he gives me A's. The man is married and has 4 kids and outside of College I don't know him.
I think Naomi has a problem and I want to help her but not any more. I have several other people that I have been assigned to help but I hope that they are not like her.

5. I had some bad teeth in the back of my mouth

One of them cracked off because it had a double filling in it from years ago and it had silver(?) fillings. I had an infection start in the root and I needed to go to the dentist.
I couldn't gather up the funds to go to the Dentist because I have been on disability for 8 years.
I made an appt. for the dental college and I couldn't get in for 4 months.
The infection turned in to blood poisoning and I ended up in Northwestern Hospital.
All of my teeth had to be removed two weeks ago.
I am 40 years old and I don't have teeth but I will be getting some next week.

years and years ago, I worked with a young woman in her early twenties that had all of her teeth pulled. She could not afford to take off, so she was back at work with no teeth. She made a joke about it and when she got her new teeth - she proudly showed them off.

lying, child abuse, elder abuse... THOSE are bad things. THOSE are things to be ashamed of. Losing your teeth is a health related issue and has nothing to do with what kind of person you are. So she can just fukc off.

12. 2003 Was a horrible year for me but I am much better now

1. In 2002 our house was foreclosed on, my baby boy cat died right before we lost our house and my Dog died the month before that.

2. 2003 We rented an apt. went through an eviction with a crazy landlord which stole everything including my Dad's WW2 stuff, my moms ashes, my Dad's bibles which I will never hear the end of, all of my clothes, my mixer, pots and pans, TV's, computer and well shit everything we owner. Last but not least all of my culinary equipment and books.


3. I would have been kicked out of College because I owed some tuition but a couple of people from DU helped me and I can't think them because I lost there address after my apt. was robbed by the landlords son who was arrested for stealing everything.

4. I lost my teeth but I am not giving up.

That society makes us feel ashamed of this in the first place. I used to smile all the time, but with half my teeth gone, and no 2500 on a bridge to replace them, I have learned to just live with it. Sure dont like it tho.

When I notice folks staring at the gaps in my mouth, I just grin real goofy and say "Ain't I cute?" Hey, 6 yr olds look cute without their teeth!! Why can't I?:D

to lose teeth. I'm missing a bunch of mine. In fact, a loose one fell out Wednesday. Makes me feel old, but in a lot less pain. I have 6 teeth left on the top, and missing the front teeth on the bottom. So I don't smile much. But I'm getting good at tracking down bargains on soup. Now to figure out how to get a candle in my head for Halloween....
