I just forced myself to eat lunch.
It's 2:40 here. My appetite is shot. I can't sleep. The next two days are going to be hell. Utter hell.

1. I don't think I'll be hungry anymore either.
I ate lunch because I was hungry - and usually I'm starting to feel hunger again at this pt of the day...

but not today.

3. I could hardly sleep last night
Couldn't do my workout because I wasn't rested... forced down a bowl of cereal... don't expect to be able to sleep tonight...

I'm working out tomorrow, though. I don't care if it kills me, I need to burn off some energy before standing in line for howeverlong.

A little over an hour ago. I was saying to myself, "You have to eat". I really had no appetite at all. I might forget to eat tomorrow.

4. Jinx!
I was telling myself that since 1:00... finally I had to do it. Skipping meals is really bad for you.

I'll remind you. :)

5. easier said than done but please eat. its so important to at least get
basic nutrition in - and basic sleep - or the risk of cold/flu etc greatly increases. im excited so it does take its toll on eating but there have been a couple times that i couldnt eat well and i was very sorry about it after a day or two. i promised myself that i would at least have a little something.

im about to have some vegetarian soup and grilled cheese.

be well everyone. deep breath and out.

we ARE going to do this.

7. Thanks. :-)
I did force myself, and I do feel kinda sick now, but I know skipping meals is not healthy.

It's just wearing me out thinking about all the early voting, and the machines screwing up... and NO AUDIT TRAIL. Ugh ugh ugh.

13. well then dont think about it!! just kidding and i sure know
this is very tough right now. im glad you had a little something. its best to eat small meals of course or even snack a little as opposed to not at all.

and stick to the basics that you know go well. sometimes i resort to cooking a little something on the stove so that the good smell will get my stomach interested in eating a little

best wishes redqueen. were all in this together i tell you what! and i expect to see you here in dc on january 20th celebrating a kerry inauguration!

6. Same here. I picked at a salad, then pushed it away.
I'm off today, so I'm lucky. Tomorrow isn't going to be so great--almost seven hours of school.

8. I have to be here tomorrow too
I don't know how much good it will be for me to be here... already today people are constantly stopping by to ask me about the election. (They all know I'm a political junkie.) It'll only be worse tomorrow.

19. I think
Kerry will win and the clue is in RW talk radio. They are going bonkers with outrageous statements. They know or are pretty sure that * with less than a 50% rating is probably not going to win. The republican base is not as large as the democrat base and not as pumped as the democrats. The OBL video, which I believe was the October surprise, did not make much of an affect since the news media is skittish with these kind of stories now. Iraq is getting bad press even from the Sec of State and a large group of new time younger voters is registered and more inclined to vote for Kerry rather than *. Gore at this time was behind in the polls in 2000 but won the popular vote decisively. An army of poll watchers and lawyers are in the swing states to cry and document fouls. This country is not evenly divided over major issues. It is the corporate media that continues the myth of an evenly divided country so that they keep the ratings going. I will be very surprised if this election is close. The times they are changin.

I really like it. That and Sterling Vineyard's cab sav... vintner's collection. If I had a lot of money I'd stock up on these two -- so far, they're my favorites. :)

21. I am SO thankful for y'all
I'd think I was nuts if you all weren't going through the exact same thing I'm experiencing here.

Loss of appetite is NOT something an Italian-American ever suffers from. I mean - really. When was the last time you heard of an Italian with an eating disorder?

But, this thing is killing me. I've been saying for a couple of months that it's Kerry in a walk, but I'm so nervous about what those bastard Republicans might pull.

Thank you all for being here.............

23. In the same boat -- I had to force down some lunch...
Eating food has become like taking medicine these last few days.

I'm so wired that my hands have a small tremor. Sleep is eluding me entirely.

So, I truly understand, redqueen --
