So if you saw a group of people on all 4 corners of an intersection,
holding up huge pro-* signs and dancing (note, most of these people are 13 year olds with their idiot parents to one side), what would you do?

I rolled down my window and told the dancing bitch to GROW UP.

It's the best I could do in 1.37 seconds, they weren't worth reasoning with and I should have called the police as their gyrations were a disruption to an already annoying RUSH HOUR.

Damn savages.

4. Well. . .
I've taken a few different approaches.

A few weeks ago I just gave everyone the bird, including a group of repressed looking teenagers with their equally dissatisfied looking parents with signs that said "Families for *". I gave them both hands. It was completley immature, but hey, desperate times/ desperate measures.

Then I started sign waving a lot for Kerry, and realized it's just stupid when people flick you off or wave their Bush signs at you. So I either do nothing - pretend like they don't exist, or I smile really big and hold my homemade W with the international NO sign out for all to see.

My blood still boils though!

13. In the reverse situation, I was in a mob waving Kerry signs
& whenever somebody gave me the finger I grinned & waved back like an idiot, or like I hadn't noticed they were giving me the finger. By refusing to accept their hostile message I drove some of them frantic.

8. (blush)
Thanks!

Tomorrow will be difficult, as I refuse to acknowledge any *-backer at the polls...

I hope Kerry wins... otherwise I'll start a campaign to change the title "Generation X" to "Generation Screwed".

7. That would require 4 seconds.
It was clear the kiddies were spoon-fed the propaganda, but I'm sure their parents wouldn't mind if their kiddies went to die for them.

9. "Grow up" isn't actually too bad,
as long as you said it in the same tone of voice you'd use on any kid who'd done something immature and stupid.

11. Oh, if I was a parent I would have used the same, identical tone.
The brat was causing a scene. If it had been doing its jig in a grocery store or in Special Ed class where it belongs, I'd be just as tough. (I'm normally a peace loving person, but (1) children have been brainwashed and (2) these are chaotic times and I refuse to remain silent. I'm effing tired of remaining silent. If I am to be damned, I will be damned for what I really am: An angry white homosexual guy. Or, in short, a rightfully angry American.)
