Could you East Coasters do me a big favor tomorrow?
Could you make sure this whole election thing is wrapped up and in the bag before the polls even close out here in the West? Thanks, I appreciate it.

2. Wait a minute!
This West Coaster wants the drama to last into the cocktail hour PST and beyond -- I want time to drink 3 bottles of champagne before I crash!

3. We'll be happy to do so, if you promise to vote anyway.
We need a huge landslide from all parts of the country.

(I'll be at the polls at 6 a.m. in New Jersey.)

5. Of course.
There's plenty of important local stuff to vote on. But if you've got the presidential thing sorted out then I can go ahead and vote for Thunderlips: The Ultimate Male as a write-in.

8. I'll do my best to round up the voting population of Vermont, which is
less than the cow population.

We'll be done early and in bed before anyone in the West can agonize.

OH...AND.... I'll be delivering Vermont for KERRY.
Okay?

Hope that helps your nerves.

Now, prepare to VOTE!!!!

12. Tied? Huh? NO WAY...
...Home of Howard Dean, Bernie Sanders, Pat Leahy?

Nah, somebody done be pullin' yer leg, man.

We do have a Rep governor up for election, and the challenger is "iffy."
BUT....
Leahy and Sanders are up for re-election.
THEY ARE SOLID!
Howard Dean won the open primary here and draws HUGE crowds.

SHEESH, we even have Civil Unions.

Soooo, I don't think we're in any tie.
