It cost me $13.65 to cast my vote! |

Well, it's all my fault. I let time slip away...and, yesterday I realized I hadn't sent in my absentee ballot! OMG! I guess it's because I've spent way too much time on DU.
My options were either to drop the ballot off at a local polling site tomorrow (any one in the county would suffice)-or deliver it to the Registar of Voters by 8:00 PM tomorrow night.
Guess what I picked?
I decided I would trust the US Postal Service to deliver my ballot via Express Mail to the Registrar of Voters...guaranteed delivery by 3:00 PM tomorrow! BTW, it may even be delivered by tonight! I just didn't want to wait in line at the polls tomorrow.

4. I had to do that as a freshman in college |

The county board of elections set me up. I did not get my ballot in the mail until the day before my elections so I overnight mailed it. I was so upset that I didn't vote again until I got out of college. Were they trying to prevent me from voting?
