DUers, convince my husband to stop lurking and start posting

My hubby is the person who found the DU, and convinced me to come here.
He has been registered since 2003 and he loves to read posts here, but he has never ever plucked up the courage to post himself.
I figured y'all could find some good convincing arguments to kick his a$$ into gear.

15. I lurked for a long time before signing on.

I registered in 2003, too, but only just started posting in earnest a week or so ago. I love the fact that DU is a community where all kinds of people come together to help each other make sense out of what's happening in and to our country, to get a reality check and/or be a little crazy, and to share a little bit of our lives and thoughts with intelligent, articulate, committed, caring, funny and generally nice people. I can't imagine finding a place like that anywhere else. Being a newbie is a bit weird, but I figure I'll just keep on posting, and one day, I, too, will attain instant credibility.
