I am up late and miss my kitty......
I miss having Mariko crawl under the cover and snuggle up next me and purr me to sleep.

1. awww sorry to hear that
I lost one earlier this year in January and I was devastated. I went out and got 2 kittens so I would never have to sleep without one
hope things get better soon for you:hug:

Its a sad part of life to lose a much-loved friend-I empathise more than you know. Best I can offer is prayers and that I'll hug my 70 lb springer spaniel extra hard tonight. He is my heart. Every morning when the alarm goes off at 5:30, he snuggles between us at the head of the bed. For the next 20 minutes, he snores while we try to wake up!

4. Thanks. I know some people think it's silly...
....but M'iko has been a constant companion to me for since I was 21 years old. I miss her terribly.

7. My avatar kitty was with me from 14-32
and died 18 years ago. I still miss her and think about her every day. Not in an unhealthy, obsessive way, but as a very pleasant memory in my life. And I don't CARE if people think it's silly. If they do, they're asshats. IMHO, anyway.

I am sorry for your loss. I cried myself to sleep for 3 months.

3. Awww..I'm so sorry
I know just how you feel. I still tear up when I try to read in bed at night, because my beloved PeeWee would always drape himself across my neck and purr. He's been gone for more than a year now. I'm looking at the box of his ashes, and it seems like he just passed away. I miss him so much.

It's so unfair that our fur kids can't live as long as we do. But you gave Mariko a longer life than most kitties will ever know. She was blessed for having you, and you her.

6. I give you Rosie for a night.
Mariko sounds a lot like my kitty, Rosie, who purrs me to sleep while lying under the covers in the crook of my arm. She says she'd be more that happy to keep you company tonight. Enjoy.
