I can't sleep!

I'm nocturnal by nature but tonight I've gone to bed about 4 times and no dice. I feel like a 5 year old on Xmas Eve! :crazy:

I went to bed, and slept for about four hours or so. I'm awake again, for the duration...tried to sleep, but I've given up. So I've got two packs of cigarettes, a pot of coffee, some good music, and I'm sitting here alternating between reading DU and surfing the news and opinion sites until 6 am or so, when I'm off to wait for the polls to open at 7.

You know, in wartime in battles, Generals and soldiers go days without sleep. We're in a battle right now. So, its OK. Lets get through tomorrow, then we can rest.

The polls open in 3 hrs here in NY...I think I might just go right then...I can't take it anymore! :crazy:

It is nights like tonight I am glad I have separate fridge with a keg in it. I just want to drink myself to sleep and wake up to an acceptance speech by John Kerry on TV.

And I voted a few days ago so I can sleep in. :-)

11. I'm in the same boat

It's 3:40 where I am. I decided that if I'm not asleep by 4am, then I'm staying up all night. I'm making coffee in about 20 minutes. I'll just have to take a nap at some point to stay up late enough to witness the returns. :)

I swear, this is my freakin' Superbowl...only the outcome is much more serious.
