This was my first time voting in a presidential election and I'll never forget it, because this is when I finally realized that I will never be able to feel apathetic for a moment.

I now know that my commitment does not end with defeating Bush, but will be a lifelong struggle, branded in my heart and my conscience forever. When I met Barack Obama a couple days ago, I flippantly told him that I would be directing his presidential campaign in a few years, but hell, maybe I will. It's definitely opened my mind to career possibilities I never before entertained.

I really hope that it's not always going to be such an emotional rollercoaster, though. I've already got hypertension and I just turned twenty-one.
