This place has really been a saving grace in the days that it seemed like the world was becoming whacked out. I tell you, when the "war" started, I NEEDED to be here. All the folks at DU kept me sane thru those early days of the "war" and it was nice to be here.
I haven't really gotten close to anyone here on DU, but I feel part of it and I find myself getting "involved" in the lives of others here. It's a good place to be and it's people like you that keeps me coming back.
