Every presidential candidate I've ever voted for has lost -- should I....
....take one for the team and vote for Bush?

In 1992, I was too young to vote, but followed politics. I was too young to have my own thoughts on the matter, so with my family I wanted Bush to be elected, and Clinton won. In 1996, I was old enough that I should have known better, and should have had my own views well-sorted out but I didn't. I was in the process of rejecting some of the beliefs handed to me by others and forming my own, but I was ticked off at Clinton too, so I voted for Dole, and Clinton won.

In 2000 I finally had my head screwed on straight (a process which started in about 1998) and I voted for Gore, and Bush won.

I think I am the achillies heal of my candidates.... :(

9. You haven't voted enough times to suggest a trend................
and even if you think you have, curses, records etc. are made to be broken. The Red Sox this year are a good example of that. Get out and vote for Kery/ Edwards. I guarantee you'll be on the winning side this time, and it will FEEL GREAT! GO VOTE. NOW!

13. Ok ... the vote for Dole doesn't count
Did you HONESTLY think that he would win over Clinton??? hehe ... since that wasn't a surprise, you can't count it!

So technically you've only voted in two elections that count. Thank goodness you didn't get it right the first time, so we can't count that one either.

The 2000 election was won by Gore anyways, so technically you've got a really good record in voting for the guy who wins! :) Vote for Kerry this election!! All votes count and how could you live with yourself if you vote for shrub and he wins??????

:hi:

19. You Didn't Vote For A Loser in 2000
We all know what really happened, there. Losing and being the victim of a theft are hardly the same thing.

20. The Red Sox defeated their jinx
and you can too. The only president I ever voted for that won was Clinton, twice (if we don't count Gore)
