The local gas station near my house (by far the easiest one to get to) lost my business as soon as they started littering their pumps with Bush/Cheney signs.

Besides, you have a computer store, from what I can see in the window. Computer users tend to skew "literate" and, thus, Democratic. ;)

And in my state, almost all gas stations, regardless of brand, are festooned with US flags and patriotic-looking crap that was outsourced to sweatshops overseas.

I think they are trying to remind us all that a lot of blood was spilt for that oil and we should be greatful that we have a bushbot that will ensure that the bloodshed will not cease.

14. A business in my town did something similar

It was a quickie mart type store that sells cigs and bad beer. I thought for dure it was owned by good ole' boys. Imagine my surprise when he put up on his big outdoor sign- Vote to Support Stem Cell Research! I started buying gum there (since I don't drink bad beer!)
